• You are asked to pay money or fees upfront

• You are told not to speak directly with Diamond Resorts

• They are stating they are working directly with Diamond Resorts

• You are asked to share your account or login information

Diamond Resorts does not affiliate with any third-party exit companies and does not share your contact information with outside parties. Any third-party exit company claiming to be affiliated with Diamond Resorts is lying. We encourage members to treat any solicitations from third-party exit companies with the utmost caution and conduct thorough research, to make the best possible decision on the services they are offering to provide you.

We acknowledge that life circumstances can change, and certain individuals may not be able to properly enjoy all of the benefits of their vacation ownership.

We urge you to reach out us directly for information on ways to update your membership and maximize your timeshare ownership, including using your points for airfare, cruises, and member-exclusive VIP dinners or Diamond Live concerts. We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any concerns about your account. If you do not pay your membership fees you will not be able to make reservations or utilize your points, and you may damage your credit.

We strongly urge members not to follow the deceitful advice of third-party exit companies. Oftentimes, these companies will instruct owners to stop making payments on their contracts, promising a “legal” cancellation of the owners’ contract via an agreement with Diamond. This is NOT TRUE. These promises are rarely fulfilled and members are often left with damaged credit. These companies are alleged to even tout loan defaults, foreclosure or bankruptcy as a “successful exit” from a timeshare.

While we passionately believe in the value of vacations, we also understand that life’s circumstances can change and we acknowledge certain individuals may be left unable to vacation and enjoy the benefits of their vacation ownership. Transitions™ by Diamond Resorts is a program that offers qualifying members a safe way to relinquish all or part of their vacation ownership.

The following Conditions to Apply must be met for an owner to be considered an “Eligible Participant” for Transitions:

Qualifying Timeshare. You must own a timeshare that qualifies for the program. Qualifying timeshares include timeshares within the US Collection, Hawaii Collection, California Collection, Monarch Grand Vacations, Premiere Vacation Collection, Cabo Azul, and Florida Club Connection. Qualifying timeshares also include timeshares at resorts that are currently included as part of any of the Collections listed above.

Initial Acquisition from Diamond. You must have purchased your timeshare directly from Diamond, or from an entity that was subsequently acquired by Diamond. Members and owners who have inherited or been gifted points from family will qualify if their family members would have qualified.

No Lien, Loan Balance or Outstanding Fees. You must have free and clear title to your timeshare with no loan balance or lien. You must be current on the payment of all Maintenance Fees, Club Dues and any other fees.

No Reservations. You must have no future reservations scheduled. All reservations must be canceled or fulfilled prior to submitting to participate in Transitions. This includes any deposit with Interval International® or third-party exchanges.

No Resale Agent, Broker or Transfer Company. Your timeshare must not be listed with any broker or resale agent. Participation with a timeshare exit or resale company or firm may negatively impact your ability to participate in Transitions.

While the above requirements are the minimum requirements to be considered, Diamond reserves all rights to determine in its sole discretion whether to grant a request to be accepted for Transitions, depending on inventory needs and other factors that may be relevant for any particular request.
